The Zia Sun Symbol

Zia Sun SymbolThe Zia sun symbol originated with the Indians of the Zia Pueblo in ancient times. "Zia" means sun, and is also the name of the symbol. Its design reflects their tribal philosophy, with its wealth of pantheistic spiritualism teaching the basic harmony of all things in the universe.

The Zia Sun was often referred to as the "Giver of all Good Gifts", and we at Zia Taqueria try to represent such beliefs with our actions....and so we give to our fellow mankind and the community where we live, and beyond.

We've supported over 400 so far...
